Dr. Sonja Gvozdenac (born Grabovac), senior research associate, employed at the Department of Industrial Plants since November 2016. She graduated in 2000 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad, majoring in Plant Protection, where she earned her master's degree in 2008, majoring in Entomology. She defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of Phytopharmacy in 2016. She completed her professional training in 2005 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Goettingen (Fakultät für Agrarwissenschaften, Georg–August–Universität Göttingen), Germany. She participated in the "Better Training for Safer Food (BTSF)" training, organized by the Food Safety Sector of the European Commission (DG SANTE of the European Commission), related to the safe application of plant protection products, in Portugal in 2016. As a winner of the Cochran Fellowship for 2024, she stayed in the USA during June 2024 as part of the program. He is the author and co-author of 187 scientific and professional papers, i.e. announcements at international and national meetings.
