Wolf and Dositej Museum, Belgrade 2018

The theme of this year's ninth European Night of Researchers in Serbia is our scientific and cultural past, and that thread will run through all our settings.

Is there a better place than the Vuk and Dositej Museum for Belgraders to find out how the Serbian language and our Cyrillic alphabet developed? With the help of the team from the Museum of the City of Belgrade, the youngest visitors will be able to "decipher" the Glagolitic works of Dositej Obradović and Vuk Karadžić, as well as try to write their names in Glagolitic letters. In addition, there will be researchers from the Ethnographic Institute who will (re)examine the position and importance of our cultural heritage, while "urban weavers" will help children test their patience in working on the loom.

All that awaits you at the Vuk and Dositei Museum, on September 28, from 5-10 p.m.
