A rich and diverse scientific and popular program has been prepared in Nis this year as well. Scientists and researchers from the most diverse fields will welcome all curious minds in the Niš Fortress, the "Nikola Tesla" University Library, the archaeological hall of the National Museum and the archaeological site of Mediana. You will get to know the cultural heritage of our city from prehistory to the Middle Ages and you will find out the role of conservators in preserving museum objects for future generations. We will explore the Roman villa together and find out what the daily life of the people who inhabited these parts looked like during the ancient period. You will take part in a quiz and have your photo taken in a Roman toga. The life and work of Nikola Tesla, as a visionary, but also as a young engineer who was led by migration routes from his native Lika to America, will be presented to you using the most modern technology. You will also find out whether it is possible to trace national identity through music, whether an electric field is transmitted through a vacuum, and whether we can use a mobile phone in a vacuum? We will also talk about the paths of rice, the genus Homo, the green inhabitants of the land and why animals migrate. You will also find out which nations people from the Balkans have the most similarities with and whether the migration of ideas is the key tool for the development of mathematics. Come check it out together! We are waiting for you on September 29 from 17:00 to 22:00 at the mentioned locations!
