Today it is difficult to imagine counting and calculation without written numbers, but once there were no written numbers. The earliest things that were counted on were the fingers. However, for the needs of trade, it was necessary to come up with an aid that would be able to count and calculate larger quantities.
One such aid was the abacus. It is popularly known as a calculator for children. To this day, it is widespread and used in many parts of the world. This interactive workshop will aim to introduce the history of the abacus to all visitors, as well as introduce them to its use.
