The Tan Memorial House in Bečej was built on the site of the birthplace of the world-famous painter Mora Tan (1828, Bečej – 1899, Trieste) and Karolje Tan, academician, doctor of chemistry and pharmacy (1834, Bečej – 1908, Budapest). The students of Bečej High School have prepared several interesting experiments for fun and learning with which they want to delight the audience and preserve the legacy of Karol Tan.
