Plasma, the fourth state of matter, are you kidding me?

Solid, liquid and gaseous aggregate states of matter have been known to man for centuries. However, there is also a fourth aggregate state, which is plasma! Stars, interplanetary and interstellar space are in a state of plasma, while on planet Earth plasma occurs as a rare natural phenomenon. It is estimated that about 1 % of matter in the universe is in the usual three aggregate states, while the rest of about 99 % is in the plasma state.
