Aleksandra Stefanović was born in Kragujevac in 1975, where she graduated from the "Radoje Domanović" Elementary School, as well as the First Kragujevac High School. After completing her art history studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, she continued her career at the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Kragujevac. During the past years, it deals with the protection, preservation and presentation of immovable cultural heritage of Šumadija and Pomoravlje, as well as the preservation and management of documentation of immovable cultural assets. As a graduate art historian - conservator, over the years she participated in several different projects related to the conservation of paintings, the restoration of churches and the preservation of monumental heritage in general. She is a member of the Society of Conservators of Serbia and IKOMOS, the International Council of Monuments and Sites, an international organization for the protection and preservation of immovable cultural heritage. Married, mother of three children.
