Senior research associate Dr. Dejan Kepić received his doctorate at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry of the University of Belgrade, working on the problems of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with carbon nanotubes. He works at the Vinca Institute for Nuclear Sciences in a group that deals with problems in the field of physics and chemistry of carbon nanomaterials. As part of his postdoctoral training, he stayed at the Institute for Materials Science in Barcelona. He is currently involved in the synthesis of metal nanoparticles on graphene using low-dose gamma radiation. He is a participant in national and international projects as well as bilateral cooperation projects.
