Dr. Bojana Tubić was born in Smederevska Palanka in 1976, where she completed primary and secondary school. She graduated from the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade in 2002, and since 2003 she has been employed at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", in the Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection. She defended her doctoral dissertation "Testing different methods of sampling macroinvertebrates in aquatic ecosystems and possibilities of standardization" in 2016 at the Faculty of Science in Kragujevac. He is engaged in researching the ecology of macroinvertebrates, especially insect larvae and their role in different types of aquatic ecosystems.
