Dr. Irena Hribšek received her doctorate in 2022 at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, Animal Ecology and Biogeography module within the Ecology study program. She participated in several international workshops and conferences on the protection of vultures, and she participated in one as an invited lecturer. He is a long-time member of the Foundation for the Protection of Birds of Prey. Since 2009, in cooperation with the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", the University of Belgrade, an Institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia, has been participating in the program of studying and monitoring the population of the griffon vulture in Serbia. She is employed in the aforementioned institute as an ornithologist.
