Dr. Žiko Milanović was born on March 17, 1994 in Prijepolje, where he graduated from "Vladimir Perić Valter" Elementary School and Prijepolje High School. He completed his basic academic studies in chemistry at the State University in Novi Pazar in 2017 with an average grade of 9.69, and his master's degree in chemistry (master chemist module - research and development) in 2018 with an average grade of 10.00 at the Faculty of Science in Kragujevac. With an average grade of 10.00 on 05/09/2023. In 2008, he defended his doctoral dissertation entitled "Structural and antioxidant properties of newly synthesized phenolic derivatives of 4,7 dihydroxycoumarane", which earned him the title of Doctor of Chemical Sciences. During his studies, he was awarded several times with the prize for the best students. He was a scholarship recipient of the relevant ministry and the "Dositeja" Fund for Young Talents. He is employed at the Institute for Information Technologies in Kragujevac. He has exceptional knowledge in the field of FT-IR spectroscopy, as evidenced by numerous scientific results. In his previous scientific research work, he has published 24 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals listed on the SCI list, as well as 5 scientific papers in national journals. He actively participated in numerous conferences, with more than 40 announcements. He participated as a volunteer in numerous activities of the Red Cross (humanitarian actions, promotion of humane values, etc.). He is the coordinator of the Science Promotion Team at the Institute of Information Technologies in Kragujevac.
