Ivana Savić Gajić is a full professor at the Faculty of Technology in Leskovac. He deals with the isolation of bioactive compounds from plant material and their further application in the development of pharmaceutical products. A large number of her works are related to the optimization and application of modern extraction procedures. He is intensively engaged in the application of natural carbohydrates for the prolonged release of bioactive compounds from polymer carriers.
