Jelena Stevanović is a master engineer in architecture. She was born in Niš, where she graduated from elementary school and "Svetozar Marković" Gymnasium - majoring in science and mathematics, both with the best results. She enrolled in the basic academic studies of architecture at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Niš in 2010. At the same Faculty, she continued her master's studies, and after that, in 2015, she enrolled in doctoral academic studies in the Architecture study program. She believes that more attention should be paid to the environment and the reduction of energy consumption when designing and building buildings, and that is why she chose, through her scientific work, to research and improve the energy efficiency of buildings and bioclimatic architecture. She is engaged in teaching several subjects at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, at the Department of Structures and Structural Systems of Architectural Buildings.
