Jelena Živković was born in Niš. She received her doctorate from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Novi Sad in the field of Regional Geography. She has been employed at the Department of Geography of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at the University of Niš since 2008. She has published several works in prominent international and domestic journals.
