Katarina Perović is a mathematics teacher at the elementary school "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" in Kruševac, and deals with this very issue. Working with children, he tries to show them the beautiful side of mathematics, the one that is usually hidden behind formulas and calculations. She collaborates with the Kruševac Professional Training Center and the Science Club, and she organized a number of mathematical workshops both together with them and at her school. She held several workshops on the relationship between mathematics and art (Fractals, Symmetries, Polygons in Arabic art...)
