Milan Kostić was born in 1987 in Prokuplje. He obtained the title of Doctor of Science - Technological Engineering in 2018 at the Faculty of Technology in Leskovac, University of Niš. Since 2022, he has been employed as an assistant professor at the same faculty. Milan Kostić's main research areas of interest are: extraction of fatty oil from different plant raw materials; characterization of vegetable oils; alcoholysis of vegetable oils obtained from waste raw materials in the presence of heterogeneous catalysts; characterization of biodiesel; environmental protection. He is the author and co-author of twenty-three papers published in journals from the SCI list, one patent, seven national technical solutions, as well as numerous announcements from international and national conferences. He is also a member of the scientific board of the international conference Advanced Technologies and Sustainable development.
