Milica Petrović was born in Nis. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dentistry, University of Niš and is a specialist in oral medicine and periodontology. For professional development, she spent part of her specialist internship at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade. Employed at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš, as an assistant professor. He is the author and co-author of a large number of scientific papers published in international and national journals, as well as papers published at numerous domestic and international conferences. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Acta Medica Medianae, Faculty of Medicine in Niš, University of Niš, a branch of the Serbian Medical Society, as well as the Anthropological Society of Serbia. In 2018, she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Comparative examination of the effectiveness of basic, laser and phytotherapy in patients with chronic periodontitis". She participated in numerous domestic and international educations, as well as in two projects of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development. She is currently engaged in an internal project of the Faculty of Medicine in Niš.
