Mr. Kosana Popović graduated from the Faculty of Technology of the University of Novi Sad, majoring in Pharmaceutical Engineering, where she defended her master's thesis and enrolled in doctoral studies. She is currently employed at the Academy of Vocational Studies Šabac, at the Department of Medical and Business-Technological Studies, where she teaches and conducts exercises in pharmaceutical technology and is a professional practice mentor in the Pharmacy program. During her twenty-two years of work in higher education, she trained a large number of students and mentored more than 90 final theses in the field of pharmaceutical engineering. Her research includes pharmaceutical technology, application of dispersion systems, surfactants and macromolecules in pharmacy, as well as analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials and medicinal herbs. She has published papers in scientific journals and at national and international conferences. As a local organizer, she participated in the European Night of Researchers in 2020, 2021 and 2022. She was also responsible for the projects "There will be no lightning in the nettles" and "Miracle Baba Marta", which received financial support from the Center for the Promotion of Science. Through projects and work with students, she actively contributed to the popularization of science.
