Nebojsa Dinčić was born in Surdulica, on the same day as the famous French mathematician Fourier. In an attempt to become a programmer, he got lost among matrixes and operators, he liked it, so he stayed there. "It spoils the youth" as a full professor at the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Niš. He is interested in generalized inverses, Fourier analysis, functional calculus, quantum mechanics and the popularization of science. He likes music (trying to play acoustic guitar), socializing, quality books and video games. He is one of the founders of the Astronomical Society "Vega" from Surdulica, under whose auspices he held several popular lectures on various mathematical topics. He believes that mathematics can only be understood if it is explained to others.
