Saša Gocić was born in the early seventies of the last century, in a beautiful area at the foot of the Kukavica mountain, near Vučje, known for one of the first hydroelectric plants in Serbia. His fascination with natural phenomena and the need to understand them led him to the path of physics from an early age. An unbridled desire to explore lightning and thunder, as well as cartoons with Benjamin Franklin, led him to a master's degree and a doctorate in the field of ionized gas and plasma physics. At the end of the last century, he accepted the role of a teacher and since then he has been sharing his research passion with students of PMF and special students from the "Svetozar Marković" Gymnasium in Niš. He played the role of a teacher in real life to his children Valentina and Nikola, who are now grown up, but keep him company in various research expeditions.
