Slobodan Davidović they say for themselves: in that year 1986, Spain and Portugal became members of the European Union, Voyager 2 passed the closest to Uranus, the astronauts of the Challenger shuttle were killed, the Russians launched Mir, the Chernobyl disaster happened, Maradona defeated England in the quarter-finals of the World Cup with the hand of God , Yugoslavia became the world champion in water polo for the first time, and I saw the light of day. I graduated in biology hoping to do the same in nature, but fate wanted me to work in a laboratory for a while and deal with the history of our people from a genetic point of view. Today I work at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" and deal with population and conservation genetics of everything and anything, including birds. My wish is to travel around the world by bicycle and visit every remote corner of our planet, see everything worth seeing and experience everything worth talking about.
