Sofia Stupar is a molecular biologist studying the effect of essential oils on the defense mechanisms of potatoes against various pests, in the hope that one day natural pesticides less harmful to human health will be used. He performs his experiments at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", at the Department of Plant Physiology and is currently writing his PhD on the aforementioned topic. He is a lover of nature, literature and a good bedtime series.
