Tijana is an astrophysicist, an associate professor at the Department of Astronomy at the University of Belgrade, a scientist who deals with the application of artificial intelligence in the film industry, a scientific communicator and the founder of the Association of Scientific Communicators NauKom, and a TikTok and Instagram creator of educational content known as Dr. Cosmic Ray. She completed her doctoral studies in astrophysics in 2006 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. For more than 10 years, he has been the program coordinator of the Night of Researchers in Novi Sad and the former director of the Science Festival in Novi Sad. Tijana also taught gifted students for 4 years at Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Gymnasium in Novi Sad, and was a visiting professor at the University of Ljubljana and at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in Moscow.
