Veljko Vučković, student of the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.
Through numerous professional internships and volunteering, he acquired a lot of new knowledge and skills. I am particularly interested in how plants develop defense strategies, such as the synthesis of protective proteins and chemical compounds, in order to fight against pathogens. I also channeled my passion for biology in my earlier experience as a primary school biology teacher, with the aim of inspiring and I encourage their curiosity and exploration of nature. In addition, I play the guitar and am an amateur chess player.
