Vladimir Petković is a curator and historian. He is 34 years old and lives and works in Leskovac, where he completed primary and secondary school. He received his university education at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, where he completed his undergraduate and master's studies in history. From 2013 to 2020, he was a teacher in several primary and secondary schools, then a counselor at the Center for Professional Development in Education in Leskovac, a city councilman, and since 2020 he has been part of the collective of the National Museum in Leskovac. He is in the final year of his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade and deals with cultural studies. His research and interests are related to oriental culture, the influence of Ottoman civilization on the Balkans and relations within it. In the museum, he studies the history of his homeland and his goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the rich historical and cultural heritage of his homeland. He often likes to say "that culture and science are for everyone from 3 to 103". He is also actively involved in youth politics and volunteerism.
