Most people think of mechanical engineering as just one of many branches of engineering, which conducts research on machines and their components. They are partly right, but modern mechanical engineering is a mixture of various modern technologies and scientific fields. Today, mechanical engineer can be considered one of the most sought-after professions both in our country and abroad. During the last few decades, mechanical engineering has gained an important role in scientific fields such as medicine, physics, chemistry, etc. due to the need for practical solutions. The technologies of 3D printing, robotics, reverse engineering, machine simulations, virtual and augmented reality and machine learning are just some of the many that researchers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš will present and demonstrate to visitors. Our researchers are experts in these fields due to the nature of their projects, which always produce practical applications based on scientific innovation.
