The participants of the program are students of our primary and secondary schools, as guardians of tradition, customs and heritage.
– Fashion show with authentic folk costumes of our region;
- Concerts on forgotten instruments, duduk, doubles, ocarina, bagpipes...;
- Performance of the folklore group of the Folklore School of the House of Culture, folk dances from Timok;
- Reciting poetry in the Timoč dialect, poet Slađan Ilić, telling folk wisdom, messages...;
- As part of the program, an exhibition of woven carpets, woven pillows, authentic textile items made of hemp and linen, as well as items for the production of folk handicrafts will be set up. The making of traditional embroidery, weaving, crocheting... will also be shown.
- The Association for the Preservation and Nurturing of Tradition "Izvor" will present to interested students the way of fabric creation in the past and the modern era and point out the biggest differences in fabric processing then and now.
