Egg in water

We're playing with density again! If you put an unboiled egg in water, it will sink. When you add enough salt to the water, the egg will float to the surface. An egg has a higher average density than pure water, but when we add enough salt to the water, its density will become higher than the egg's average density, so it will rise to the surface. Try the same with sugar!
